  5. IMPORTANT NOTICE --> Registered users of dSCAR (regardless of the version)
  6. may upgrade to v2.3 by sending me $5 to cover the cost of a disk, mailer,
  7. shipping, and my time.  Or, if you have a modem you can arrange to download
  8. the newest version from my BBS by contacting me.

  10. v2.3 - (02-09-87) Mainly minor updates to v2.0.
  11.  
  12.        o  Printer set-up and reset sequences can now handle up to 40
  13.           characters--added especially for those of you lucky enough to
  14.           be using a LaserJet.
  15.  
  16.        o  Comments longer than desired width (usually 80) are now broken
  17.           to go on the next line correctly, so that the continuation line
  18.           begins with an asterick (*).
  19.  
  20.        o  The routine to break long lines is now consistent, and possibly
  21.           even reliable.  Please report any problems you may have with
  22.           your long lines.

  24.        o  dSCAR no longer interprets a variable like OTHERVAR (or any
  25.           variable that begins with a dBASE command) as being a dBASE
  26.           command.  This problem was making dSCAR report bogus error
  27.           messages in source code.

  29.        o  Code that works but is technically incorrect is still flagged
  30.           as being an error, but dSCAR will precede the error message with
  31.           a question mark (?).  This should help you distinquish between
  32.           true errors found and warning messages generated by dSCAR.

  34.        o  Cosmetically, the cursor should now be hidden when it is supposed
  35.           to be on machines with color cords.
